Hello! I'm officially back on my bamboozling. Post-finals was pretty hectic for about two weeks, since Holy Week came rolling in and then we had other things happening. I filmed it all and you can see it on my YouTube channel youtube.com/yaupas

Anyway, I've finally closed off my 2017 project just recently and I have already started with my illustration for January of 2018. I've tested out my baby Michelle on my Poseidon drawing by using her to draw the water stuff and so far my experience has been good. I'm still not confident with actually drawing with her so I'll stick to painting like what I do with my phone. I'm so excited but also worried that I might not be able to finish what queued illustrations I have before June.

Speaking of, this June I'll be flying with my family to America and we'll be doing a month-long cross-country drive my dad keeps dubbing as The Big Drive™. It's kinda annoying and he and his siblings are being so extra about it going as far as getting matching shirts for everyone which I swear is beyond tacky for a group of tourists. Hopefully since I'm designing them I'll try to make them as trendy and aesthetic as they'll accept. No one is going to catch me wearing the same shirt as someone else. I'll be vlogging and creating a bullet journal so if anyone's down to see that just let me know.

In line with these, I would like everyone to pray for me as I juggle drawing, graduation requirements, and planning the trip. Really I just need some form of support--morally and/or spiritually.

Hello! First off, I'd like to greet everyone reading this a Happy Valentine's Day! Or if you're more upset over seeing lovers and are just so tired of not having a companion, Happy Single Awareness Day! We'll survive this. Just be patient. The right one will come. Or if you prioritize Lent over this capitalist device of commercializing love for profit, a Blessed Ash Wednesday!

Now it is to my utmost dread that I must officially announce my art hiatus (if anyone's really been keeping track of what art I post). School has taken over my life as it does, and to add to that, I have driving lessons eating up my free time, and not only that but work has just licked the crumbs of what was left of my free time. I except to have more time for drawing when I finally free myself from the bonds of student life, which is also coincidentally Easter! If you don't know your holidays, it's in April. So not only will I finish Poseidon but I will be cramming four months worth of drawings to keep up so I might turn into a hermit by then.

On the brighter side of things, I just got a new drawing tablet! I'm a beginner at this so I decided to get Huion. It's a Chinese brand and is similar to Wacom but way cheaper. I don't know it's pronounced HOOyon like most people do or if it's HWEYon because it's Chinese, but nevertheless, I have a new baby. I have named her Michelle as of late. I haven't tried her out yet because school, but I believe with I tablet I can work on backgrounds much faster than I would if I worked on them on my phone.

Hey everyone! Happy new year!

I know it's already January of this Year of Our Lord 2018 and I still haven't posted my December art yet. The holidays have been full of parties, wakes, and masses and has taken up most of the time I had for myself. I wasn't able to workout as much as I wanted to which was a bummer.

Because of these happenings, I am still mid-lineart of my December drawing, and even though it is already January, I have not started with my January drawing yet. School is also threatening to ruin what free time I might have left for myself.

Just kidding. But I do have a core membership now. I know! In this economy! I'm still figuring things out with what I can do with the 6-month subscription I have. I'm kinda scared of getting attached because I'm just trying it out.

Life updates so far:

I had an internship (as per university curriculum) at a company for six months. I made web designs and some graphic ads for six months. If I wasn't working I was arting because hey interns don't get paid. The company's got nothing to lose.

Before my internship ended, I was offered a position in the company which is honestly still mind blowing until now. My internship contract told me that being an intern does not guarantee absorption so to be offered an opportunity to get paid by the company to do the same thing I've been doing for them for the past six months is really incredible. I would like to thank the Academy jk

I'm still contemplating on getting myself a tablet so I can actually test my wrist for actual drawing. I mean no discrimination against mouse artists like myself but I feel like a fraudulence if I can make nice drawings with a mouse but I can't even draw anything decent when I draw with my art friends at meetups.

Segue from that, my next calendar project's theme is Spring and I'm hoping to buy a tablet to practice my hand at painting backgrounds on my laptop since I much prefer that over doing it on my phone so I can have unlimited layers. Anyway I'm wealthy now so I can go get myself one without any regrets half-charot

No, I did not use contouring to find myself a man who would disappear under mysterious circumstances in order for me to collect his inheritance as his spouse

My hoe ass went to a butler cafe and got princess carried and played the pocky game with my crush who was serving as a butler. I may not really be wealthy but at least I felt like a winner in that fever dream, paying guys to do stuff with me
